Solution
The following steps should be followed when installing the script:

1. Unzip the archive.

2. Within your hosting account create a database and a user with access on that database.

These informations will be required during the installation process.

3. Upload the files in the installation directory (for example /rentals).

4. File permissions.

CHMOD 777 the file /includes/config.php (found in the folder includes)

CHMOD 777 the folder html_pages
CHMOD 777 the folder import
CHMOD 777 the folder temp
CHMOD 777 the folder flash_pages
CHMOD 777 the folder document_vault

CHMOD 777 the folder images
CHMOD 777 the folder /admin/newpdf/cache
CHMOD 777 the folder /admin/newpdf/temp

5. Upload the file license.php only in the /admin folder

6. Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/installdirectory/install/ (for example: www.yourdomain.com/rentals/install)

---> Step 1 - system requirements are checked and if nothing is marked with red you can go to Step 2.

---> Step 2 - file permissions are checked, if everything is correct you can go at Step 3

---> Step 3 - you are required to enter the database information and test the connection to the database

---> Step 4 - enter the license key information and the other details necessary for the script setup

---> Step 5 - CHMOD 644 the file /includes/config.php and delete the install directory

Important:

1. The trial license and the key can be requested at http://support.online-rent.com/index.php

2. The system requirements mentioned on step 1 are mandatory. If any of them is not available we recommend you to activate it by using a .htaccess/php.ini file or by contacting your hosting provider
