	Administration area - Settings

Solution The Settings screen is composed by:

A. The General script settings menu.
B. The table containing some basic settings for the script.

This article will cover the point B.

Below is the list of the features controlled here and the description of their functionality.

Language for admin part - dropdown list allowing the selection of the language for the administration area (admin and property owners)
Select the language default for the Visitor Area - dropdown list for the selection of the language to be displayed by default in the frontend.

Select pre-defined design - dropdown with templates implemented into the script (this can be used when you build your own design)
Style list property - the dropdown list contains the list of available templates used for the script content display (the dynamic content) when File template is used as display style for a property

Used currency - You should enter here the defaut currency used by the system (please use ONLY 3 letter codes like USD, EUR, GBP, etc...)

Properties per page - here you set the number of properties displayed per page in the frontend.

Overbooking: please specify the overbooking limit in units - this allows the definition of overbooking limits for daily rentals

Split the long description text after x nr of enter - older function applying to Property display styles 1-6

Choose between one or two columns when displaying the list of properties - used for style list property 1 and 2

Choose between one or two columns when displaying the additional services - setup how the additional services are displayed on the booking calendar page

Choose first (starting) day of the week for weekly reservations - applies to all weekly rentals in the script

Display order for properties in Visitor Area - self explanatory

Check this if you want to associate PID to property - associate a unique numeric identifier to each property (used in display, searches)

Show property owner details on brochure - Each property have it's own downloadable PDF brochure, here you can choose if the property owner details are displayed or not.

Check this if you want to use our home page or leave it unchecked if you would like to build your own index.html - the script have a builtin index editable using a HTML editor, here you can choose to use it or not.

Check this if you want to use quick search in index.html - displays a quick search in the script index page

The maximum no. of property types - setup how many property types you want to define.

Activate the redirection to https booking form - in case you have a SSL installed on the domain you can collect the client data on https

Hide web page URL - each property have a special field where a web site address can be entered; you can deactivate the display in the property details page by checking the box

Activate the quick booking - activate a quick selection bar on the booking calendar.

Admin comission >> Modify - setup the comission taken by admin for approved reservations into the system (useful if you don't have the owners paying for their listing by purchasing advertising subscriptions)

Activate add/modify property wizard - by checking this box the Wizard will become available in the admin/owner area and can be used for entering/modifying properties.

Add site watermark to uploaded images - check this box if you want the web site URL to appear on property images. The watermark text can be changed in the language file.
